Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the official Yrendr website, Yrendr software downloads, documentation, skins and plugins made available through or linked from this website. Separate licence terms included with a particular package continue to apply to that package.

Using the website

You may use the website to download published Yrendr releases, plugins and skins, read documentation and review release information. You may not intentionally disrupt the website, bypass access controls, interfere with administration features, distribute malware through the service, or use the website in a way that unlawfully interferes with other visitors or the service itself.

Yrendr software and licences

Downloading Yrendr does not by itself transfer ownership of the Yrendr name, branding, website, official documentation or other protected project material. Software builds and included components can be subject to separate licence terms. If a package contains or references a licence, that licence governs the use, modification and redistribution of the material it covers.

Third-party libraries, codecs and other components can have their own licences and notices. Those third-party terms remain applicable.

Plugins and skins

Plugins and skins can have their own developer, compatibility range, licence and release history. Check the relevant page and package information before installing them. A plugin can execute code inside or alongside the editor and may affect project files, performance, output or stability. Only install packages you trust and keep backups of important work.

A listing in the Yrendr catalog does not automatically mean that a third-party package is maintained by the Yrendr operator or will remain compatible with future releases.

External downloads and links

Some downloads or links can redirect to external hosting, repositories, CDNs or developer websites. Those services are operated under their own availability, security, privacy and terms. Yrendr does not control an external service after you leave the official website.

Older releases

The release archive may keep older Yrendr builds available for compatibility, testing or recovery. Older builds can contain bugs, security issues or limitations that have since been fixed. Unless a release page says otherwise, the current stable build is the normal starting point for new use.

Availability and changes

Yrendr may update, replace, reorganise or remove website content, downloads, documentation, plugins or skins. Historical files are not guaranteed to remain available indefinitely, and features can change between releases.

Backups and project files

Keep independent backups of important projects, source media and exported work. Software errors, incompatible plugins, interrupted exports, file-system problems or damaged storage can cause lost or unusable work. Yrendr should not be treated as the only copy of important files.

No warranty

The website, software, plugins, skins and documentation are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Reasonable effort may be made to keep published material accurate and working, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed for every system, project, media format or third-party package.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Yrendr is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost projects, lost media, corrupted data or similar damage resulting from use of, or inability to use, the website, software or downloadable packages.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Intellectual property and project identity

The Yrendr name, website, official documentation, official software assets and branding remain the property of their respective rights holder. Do not falsely present an unofficial build, plugin, skin, website or service as an official Yrendr product or imply an endorsement that has not been given.

Security and responsible use

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to protected administration functions or deliberately exploit the website in a way that harms the service, its operator or other users. Good-faith security research should avoid unnecessary access to data, service disruption or destructive testing.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as Yrendr, the website or the distribution model changes. The version and effective date shown on this page identify the terms currently in effect. Mandatory rights that apply by law are not affected by a change to these terms.
