Graph Editor
The Graph Editor in Yrendr 1.1.0 replaces the standalone Automation panel and lives in the Timeline dock. Press F3 to toggle it.
Get started
- Select a clip with an animatable property and position the playhead inside it.
- Open the Graph Editor and choose a property lane, such as position, scale or rotation.
- Use Add Key or
Ctrl+Kat the playhead. Double-click in a lane to add another key at a chosen time. - Move the second keyframe's time or value and play back to review the motion.
Value and Speed
Switch between Value and Speed in the Graph Editor header. Value shows animated property values over time; Speed focuses on the rate of change, which makes ease-in/ease-out easier to shape.
Keyframe selection
Click to select, Ctrl-click to extend/toggle the selection, or drag in empty lane space for marquee selection. Drag selected keys together. Delete removes selected keyframes. Alt+Left and Alt+Right jump to adjacent keys.
Curve and handle controls
Drag Bézier handles to refine easing. Use the linked-handles control or Alt+L when you want both tangents to move together. Cycle easing with E. Use Ctrl+Shift+C / Ctrl+Shift+V to copy and paste a complete selected curve; Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V copy and paste the current keyframe selection.
Auto-Key
Turn on Auto-Key in the graph toolbar to record keyframes when supported properties are edited at the current playhead. Its highlighted icon indicates its state.
Timeline synchronization
The Graph Editor and Timeline use one horizontal time viewport, so time zoom and panning remain aligned with edits and clip boundaries. Middle-mouse drag pans within the graph, with value-axis navigation separate where applicable. The graph interface uses the same shared icon controls as the editor, with hover descriptions in the bottom status bar.
