Playback loop

A playback loop repeats a temporary time range while you review an edit. The loop is an editing aid rather than exported project content.

Create a loop

1. Hold Ctrl and drag across the timeline ruler to define the loop range.
2. Start playback with Space.
3. Review the selected range as playback repeats inside the loop.

Remove or replace the loop

Create a new loop range or clear the existing selection using the timeline interaction available in the current workspace.

Note: Loop selection does not trim clips and does not limit the final render duration unless you separately configure render timing.
