Preview playback

Preview displays the current composited frame. Press F5 to toggle the embedded Preview and F6 for a detached window.

Use Space for play/pause. The Preview's compact controls include sound on/off, zoom controls, canvas snapping and preview quality. The current snapping mode and quality percentage are visible rather than hidden behind a generic icon.

Preview uses asynchronous rendering. When quality or layout changes, the most recently completed frame may remain on-screen until the next frame becomes available.

Preview quality and export quality are independent. Choose final export resolution, encoder and quality in the Render window (Ctrl+E).
