Plugin problems

Yrendr isolates common third-party plugin failures so a failing processor does not normally terminate the editor.

Diagnose a plugin problem

  1. Open Plugin Manager with Ctrl+P and confirm that the package is installed and enabled.
  2. Confirm that the plugin build is intended for your Yrendr version.
  3. Press F8 and inspect Debug Log for import, registration or processor errors.
  4. If an effect is missing from a project, reinstall or re-enable the package that owns the same stable <plugin_id>:<effect_id> identifier.
  5. Remove or disable packages that remain untrusted or repeatedly fail.

Note: Yrendr preserves unresolved effect instances in project data, so restoring the same stable plugin/effect ID can restore a previously missing chain.

Caution: Plugins run as Python code inside the editor process and are not sandboxed.
