Timeline navigation and zoom

Use the Move tool (H) or middle-mouse dragging to pan the Timeline. Switch back to Select with V when placing clips.

Hold Ctrl and use the mouse wheel over the Timeline to zoom around the pointer/time marker. Use the zoom-to-fit action to show the relevant project span. Scrolling lets the visible timeline extend beyond the end of the last clip.

When the Graph Editor is open, it shares the Timeline's horizontal time scale and viewport. Zooming or panning time in the Graph Editor updates the matching timeline view; the graph's value-axis navigation can still be adjusted separately.
