Generators

Generators are plugin features that create RGB/RGBA pixels instead of modifying an existing source frame.

Create a generator asset

Use the generator action to select a registered generator. Yrendr creates a reusable generator asset in Project Viewer and lets you place instances on the timeline.

Edit settings

Generator parameters use the same native plugin-control system as effects. A generator may expose sliders, knobs, toggles, XY pads, curves, presets or randomization.

Audio-reactive generators

The generator runtime can receive spectrum, waveform, level, peak, bass, mid and treble summaries from the timeline mix. This lets plugins create music-reactive content without bypassing the host audio-analysis path.

Routing

Generator output is still a normal visual clip after generation. Transform, track FX, compositing and Master FX are applied afterwards.
