Plugin Manager

Plugin Manager is the host-owned interface for installing, enabling, disabling and inspecting Yrendr plugin packages.

Open Plugin Manager

Press Ctrl+P or choose Menu > Plugin Manager.... If Plugin Manager is already open or minimized, Yrendr focuses or restores the existing instance instead of creating a duplicate.

Install a plugin ZIP

  1. Open Plugin Manager.
  2. Choose the install/import action.
  3. Select a ZIP whose root contains plugin.json, or a ZIP with one top-level directory containing plugin.json.
  4. Allow Yrendr to validate and install the package.
  5. Confirm that the package loads and its registered features appear as expected.

Installing a user plugin with an existing plugin ID replaces the previous user package with that ID. Bundled packages take precedence when a bundled package and user package declare the same ID.

Enable or disable a package

Use Plugin Manager to change the package state. Enabled-state overrides are stored in the user configuration directory and are applied when the plugin registry reloads.

Caution: Plugins are trusted Python code running in the Yrendr process. Install packages only from sources you trust.

Diagnose a failed plugin

Open Debug Log with F8 when import, registration or processing fails. Yrendr isolates common plugin errors so one failing package or processor call does not normally terminate the editor.
