Text clips

Text is an editor-generated visual asset. Ctrl+T creates a text item through the normal project workflow.

Reusable text assets

Text is created in Project Viewer and can be placed on the timeline like other visual assets.

Edit text

Select a text clip and press Enter, or use the Inspector text edit action.

Dynamic text

Inspector can insert supported dynamic text tokens into a text clip. These tokens are resolved by the renderer rather than requiring a separate plugin.

Transform and effects

Text clips are visual clips. They can be positioned/scaled and then pass through the normal track FX, compositing and Master FX route.
