Render Profiler

Render Profiler is Yrendr's performance-diagnostics window. Press F7 or choose it from Menu.

What profiles contain

Render profiles record project/output information, the selected media format and timing buckets from the render pipeline. Current stable profiling also records individual video/audio plugin processor timings when available.

What to look for

A large decode bucket points toward source decoding. A large plugin bucket points toward one or more FX processors. High pixel conversion or compositing time points toward frame-size/layer work rather than the encoder alone.

Audio-only profiles make it easier to inspect audio discovery, processing, Track FX, Master FX, mixing and final audio encoding without visual-render timings getting in the way.

Managing saved profiles

Use Refresh to reload the saved reports. Use Clear to remove the old render-profile debug JSON files from Yrendr's profile storage when you no longer need them.

Clearing profiler history does not delete rendered media or project files.

Window behavior

Render Profiler is a singleton editor window. F7 focuses the existing instance when it is already open.
