Group and ungroup clips

Grouping keeps related timeline clips associated during editing. Groups are stored in project data and can be removed without deleting the clips.

Group clips

1. Select the clips that should behave as a group.
2. Press Ctrl+G.
3. Move or edit the group as needed.

Ungroup clips

1. Select a clip that belongs to the group you want to break apart.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+G.
3. Continue editing the clips independently.

Tip: Grouping is useful for related overlays, titles and audio elements that should stay aligned while you rearrange a section of the timeline.
